[S1 E10]: The Dakota Williams Show with Tre Spicé-Slovain
Voiceover: Live from Twitter, It’s the Dakota Williams Show.
Music plays as the intro is shown
Voiceover: Now heeeeeere’s Dakota!
We see the doors open and Dakota walks out onto the studio stage and starts to dance around as the audience claps
Dakota: Thank you for watching our show. Please welcome our studio audience. How you doin’
The audience responds: How you doin’
Dakota: I’m doing okay, c’mon over, it’s time for hot topics
Fun music plays as Dakota walks over to her chair and the audience claps
Dakota: So, *sips drink* how was everyone’s weekend?
Audience cheers
Dakota: I had a great weekend, on Saturday I went out to eat with some friends, we went and saw movie called In the Heights have you all seen that it was good.
Audience agrees and cheers
Dakota: Yea yea, I liked it, the music was very good, and I the main guy was good too. Anyway, Married to Medicine did y’all watch it last night?
Audience nods and claps
Dakota: It was a good episode, lots of shade but not too much drama. It was good *smiles*
Dakota: It started out with a scene with Annabel in her office which was nice, and then, uh, transitioned to dinner with her husband. To sum it up the household is conservative, but Annabel is liberal. And she’s having issues in her marriage because of that.
Audience oohs
Dakota: Well, that’s going to be a problem in your home if you have different views morally. Oh well.
Dakota: *sips drink* Courtney and her husband started to have a discussion about their daughter and her dyslexia problems. They also talked about Tiffany who Courtney didn’t get a good vibe from, like most of us.
Audience claps
Dakota: Pat and Petra got together and also discussed, uh, more about Tiffany. Petra was pissed that Tiffany came at her and Courtney. And they should be pissed, Tiffany came in very shady and judgy to a group of ladies she just met.
Audience claps
Dakota: I think that Pat’s a little hesitant from Courtney because she talks about the cast on her show, which we learned about, uh, later in the episode. But anyway, I’d be hesitant too. This girl clearly knows the group, but I actually like Courtney a lot so…
Audience claps
Dakota: After that we saw Jocelyn and Tiffany get together. They haven’t seen each other since the…what was it Norman?
Norman: It was Tiffany’s soiree
Dakota: Ok yea, so they haven’t seen each other since the soiree. They talked more about Tiffany’s arranged marriage, which I think is very interesting. I don’t know much about them, but do you get to know them before or after you get married. And like *pauses* what happens if you two can’t stand each other, do you have to stay married? I’m intrigued
Audience claps and laughs at Dakota’s facial expressions
Dakota: Now I thought that Jocelyn and Frankie were getting together and that’s why they weren’t at Pat’s brunch. But Jocelyn said that she was never invited.
Norman: Yea, she did say something about them being across town in her toast from the brunch, but I think that meant she didn’t invite them
Dakota: Oh okay, okaya. Then, they talked about Petra who they basically said has a drinking problem, specifically they said she drinks a lot and that’s not good for the new children she has. And, and she’s too self absorbed they also said.
Audience oohs
Dakota: See I don’t know what to believe here, because I don’t know that much about Petra. Ima give her a couple more episodes and then give my opinion
Audience claps
Dakota: So, the group scene was a party for Frankie’s new girlfriend Jackie. And of course Pat doesn’t follow the dress code. If I was Frankie, I’d be pissed, but as a viewer, I think it’s hilarious. *laughs*
Audience laughs
Dakota: During this, Petra and Tiffany decided to make up and move on. Honestly, they were fighting over nothing. Petra blew up because, uh, Tiffany gave her opinion about the girls giving their opinions! It was a stupid fight.
Dakota: Then we get to meet the fabulous friend of, Tre who is brought in by Tiffany. And according to Pat she’s Twitter Royalty *snaps*
Audience applauds and laughs
Dakota: Tre came in starting something because she pulled Pat aside to tell her that, uh, Courtney has been talking about Pat on her show. We don’t get to know exactly what she has been saying since next week. I’m glad that Tre is coming in here transparent and letting the girls know what they could be dealing with
Audience claps
Dakota: Let’s talk about the Ladies of Twitter. They were doing some tweeting the other day. Here’s what happened….
Dakota: So Kathy Irvine, a new cast member on Ladies of Twitter went out for drinks with another new cast member and friend to the show Rose Salazar. And then new friend of the show replied to the tweet saying “You should’ve kept Rose at home hashtag mental illness”
Audience oohs
Dakota: Rose responded by calling her trash, but Amal also tweeted this after. Saying that she was mentally unstable and needs to be put in an insane asylum. All I can say about this whole situation is that I’m ready for July 2nd to come around so we can see this all play out.
Audience claps
Dakota: The Kensington gals wrapped filming this, uh, past weekend. Some of the ladies sent out messages including some new girls. Here’s one from Siobhan she said…
Dakota: “It was the one for the record books. Vindication” The question is did Siobhan clear someone of suspicion, or was she the on cleared of suspicion. We’ll see
Audience claps
Dakota: Arabella tweeted this as well. Norman you read this I need to take a sip *sips drink*
Norman reads the tweet
Dakota: *finishes sipping drink* Mhm, not in the pigs, chile. I already know that Kensington is going to be a great season
Audience claps
Dakota: When we come back we’re chatting with the new friend on Married to Medicine, Tre Spicé-Slovain.
Audience cheers as the camera focuses in on Dakota sitting her chair
Dakota: Thank you for staying with us, please welcome my guest, twitter royalty and friend of on Married to Medicine, Tre!
Tre: Hi everyone! Hi Dakota! So happy to be here with you all today! *waves to audience*
Dakota: Hey, Tre! You look fabulous, how are you?
Tre: Thank you! Like I always say, I’m blessed and highly favored!
Dakota: Yes! *snaps* I love that! So I don’t know that much about you, are you married, do you have kids?
Tre: Yes I am married! I’m married to Mike Slovain who was recently promoted to a police captain with Twitter PD. I have 3 kids in total. My grown son with my ex-husband, and a son and a daughter with Mike.
Dakota: That’s great. Let me just say I love me some police men, if you know what I mean *laughs*
Tre: They’re a blessing and a curse. *laughs*
Dakota: *laughs* Ooh, well how did it feel to join the group? Did you feel welcome?
Tre: Oh they were very welcoming to me. I already knew Pat & Jocelyn as they’re good friends of mine. Plus with Tiffany joining this season, it felt natural for me to join in on the action as well. I will say, I might’ve caused some confusion…
Dakota: Oh okay, that makes sense. Confusion chile, we’ll get into more of that later, but who are you close with in the group at the moment, because you came in as a friend of, uh, Tiffany like you said, are you still close with her?
Tre: I love Dr. Tiffany! She’s like a sister to me. Same with Jocelyn! I’m also cool with Miss Pat Landry. I’ve also gotten to know and adore Dr. Annabel too.
Dakota: Oh that’s great. I didn’t hear Courtney, Frankie, or Petra in there…that’s interesting
Tre: I don’t know Dr. Frankie that well. We really didn’t film much together during the season. Courtney…bless her little soul. *laughs* She’s a different breed that’s for sure! As for Petra? I have no issue with the girl but she’s very…tight.
Dakota: Well there you have it, So I’m assuming you watched episode 2, and at the brunch scene, do you think Dr. Tiffany came in a little strong?
Tre: I don’t think so. Dr. Tiffany is a very opinionated and strong woman. If they’re offended by what she said, then maybe there’s some truth to it. A hit dog will holla and a cat will purr…
Dakota: Okay, I thought she came in a little judgy, but that’s just my opinion. So, from yesterday’s episode, what did you think of the issues Dr. Annabel is having in her marriage?
Tre: What’s in your coffee cup Dakota? Can I get some? *laughs* Every marriage has issues but one was interesting. He’s very conservative and I don’t know if they’ll see the light at the end of the tunnel…together.
Dakota: *laughs* Interesting…I guess we’ll have to stay tuned. Do you think that doctors are the worst patients like Courtney said in her solo scene? I’ve never been with a doctor before, so I can’t say. I don’t know if you’ve been with one either *sips drink*
Tre: Courtney isn’t right about a lot of things but I’ll take her word on this one. *laughs* I’ve never been with a doctor but I’ve been invited…
Audience gasps
Tre: Courtney knows how to make her husband behave when he’s acting up.
Dakota: Hmm…. now do you think that Petra drinks a lot and is too self-absorbed like Jocelyn and Tiffany said?
Tre: I really do. I don’t think she’s living in her truth so to escape that, she needs alcohol and she needs a mirror. She thinks she’s truly America’s Next Top model but is barely making it
Audience gasps and laughs
Dakota: Honey the shade…what’s your whole opinion of Petra and Tiffany’s little tiff?
Tre: Petra is extremely sensitive. Maybe she should spend some time in Payless & JC Penny’s or something…I don’t know. If I had a sugar daddy, my life would be figured out.
Audience oohs and laughs
Dakota: Alrighty then, so, uh, we get to the climax of the episode when you told Pat that Courtney’s been talking about her on her show? Why’d you tell Pat?
Tre: Cause I’m a messy bitch. *laughs* I’m a very loyal person and I’m protective of my friends. I felt that would be the right time because if Courtney is going to be hissing in this circle, then my friend has a right to know.
Dakota: *laughs* I agree with that. Next week we’ll find out what she said, can you give us a little hint?
Tre: Take all the negative things you’ve heard about Pat, then let your imagination wander. *laughs*
Dakota: There you have it, thank you Tre for joining us this was fun.
Tre: Thank you for having me! *blows kisses to the audience*
Dakota: Thank you all for tuning in. We’ll see ya tomorrow.
Camera fades from the studio as the audience cheers
