[S1 E23]: The Dakota Williams Show with Jocelyn Robinson
Voiceover: Live from Twitter, It’s the Dakota Williams Show.
Music plays as the intro is shown
Voiceover: Now heeeeeere’s Dakota!
We see the doors open and Dakota walks out onto the studio stage and starts to dance around as the audience claps
Dakota: Thank you for watching our show. Say hello to my studio audience. How you doin’
The audience responds: How you doin’
Dakota: I’m doing alright, let’s get started, it’s time for hot topics.
Fun music plays as Dakota walks over to her chair and the audience claps
Dakota: So I was a little sick yesterday, and with COVID, I wasn’t taking any chances. But I’m negative so we’re all good. Did you all catch Married to Medicine last night
Dakota: Whew. The BEST episode of Season 5 right there. I actually watched it twice it was so good. *laughs* So, for those that didn’t catch it the ladies went to Greece for their cast trip. I think for Pat’s concert and Petra’s pop up shop, which we’ll get to later.
Dakota: At the beginning of the episode, we kind of see Petra realize that Courtney is putting herself on an island with the other ladies. I think it’s good that Petra discussed this with her because if it’s from Courtney’s closest person in the group, then it’s genuine, ya know. And when they talked it seemed Courtney wants to drop everything and not be involved in the drama, which is a good sign
Dakota: Now, Tiffany told Jocelyn all about how Annabel’s son came up to her at their charity event. Talking about how his mom was totally against his conversion and wanted him to stay the gender he was.
Dakota: Mhm mhm, Annabel really has some explaining to do in this situation. I don’t think she used the charity event as a publicity stunt. I do think she’s changed, but she was transphobic in the past no one can deny that. Sending your son to a conversion camp. I can’t fathom doing that to a trans child. Anyway, I think she’s changed her views, whether her wacko husband hasn’t.
Audience applauds and agrees
Dakota: Alright, so, Jocelyn, who we’ll be talking to a bit later. Decided to bring up a valid question at the ladies dinner. They were talking about their children and she asked if Frankie would bring her children around someone who accused them of rape. She was referring to Pat in this situation which caused her to fly of the handle.
Dakota: Was that terrible delivery and timing. Oh, for sure! But I think it’s a question that should be answered. Pat in response said that, uh, Donovan, Jocelyn’s husband, is doing some shady stuff in New York. But Pat got up and left which left the ladies in a bad place.
Dakota: Here’s my problem, Pat then went to, uh, production and said she wouldn’t film with Jocelyn anymore. I understand her frustrations but you’re all here on the trip as a group. You can ignore her, but don’t tell her to leave just because she made you upset at a dinner. They need to try and work this out, and by their twitter feuds it doesn’t look like they have.
Dakota: The group took a break from filming to cool off and resumed at Petra’s shop event. And guess what…there was MORE drama *laughs* Courtney and Frankie had a conversation about their feud and seemed to work it out. They basically agreed that they’re good but I thought it was very fast and quick for it to sincere. That’s just my take on it.
Dakota: When Petra was giving her speech her husband surprised her in Greece to see the shop. It was nice to see her husband supporting her for once, but Tiffany and Jocelyn started questioning her husband about all the drama with their marriage and finances. It was obviously the wrong time to be shady in this happy moment for Petra and I’m glad that they were removed. Petra deserves to have her moment without negativity.
Dakota: In Beverly Beach, apparently things are getting very crazy. Supposedly, someone is getting exposed that you would never expect. I don’t know who it could be. Norman?
Norman: This is just a guess, but I think it might be Lauren. She’s very sweet and doesn’t get involved in a lot of drama. It could see it being very unexpected.
Dakota: That’s a good guess. Don’t you all agree. Clap if you think it might be Lauren.
Some of the audience claps
Dakota: Okay, okaya, I think it could be Lauren or maybe on of the new cast members. But the friends are stirring up a lot of drama as well. Season 4 is going to be the best season yet, you heard that here first. *winks*
Dakota: Things are heating up in Kensington. The ladies released a new episode last night. We saw the introduction of friend Scarlett. She’s friends with Siobhan and she just moved back to Kensington after being there. I liked her, as always I want to see more. But she seemed very proper and classy which is perfect for Kensington. She’s also got some past drama with Arabella which will be interesting to see.
Dakota: Darcy and Emil went to lunch to discuss their financial problems. Woah. It was insane. Trina was there to mediate but that didn’t seem to help *laughs* My thing is, I understand that Darcy wants answers as well, but why have a lunch to say that. Bring answers, don’t just say you want them. And Emil should never have touched her or threw water on her. Totally unacceptable in my opinion.
Dakota: Evie had a charity event and Evie came in for the drive by shooting *laughs* She decided to go and support, and try to patch things up with Evie. I don’t think she really needed to go. She was looking for drama and even admitted to that by saying she was bored. And then there was a text message from Emil to Siobhan after Emil walked out…
Dakota: Emil says she hopes that Siobhan enjoyed “the show” And Siobhan responds by saying quote“you were bloody brilliant” By this conversation it seems that Siobhan manipulated this whole situation and set it up.
Dakota: Alright, when we come back, we’re circling back to Married to Med with Jocelyn Robinson. Don’t go anywhere.
Dakota: Please welcome, from the cast of Married to Medicine, Jocelyn Robinson
Jocelyn: *twirls out* She’s here, she’s here! *hugs Dakota and sits* Hey beautiful!
Dakota: Hey Jocelyn, how you doin’?
Jocelyn: How you doin’!? I’m doing fabulous as always.
Dakota: Great, how’s the hubby and the winery doing? Is the winery open?
Jocelyn: Donovan and I are doing well. We just actually returned back from vacation and we had a great time together. Oh, and the winery is doing exceptional. It’s not another “botched business” like some of these girl deteriorated BBL’s.
Dakota: *laughs* The shade already, I love it. So, let’s get into last night’s episode, what was your reaction to hearing from Tiffany about, uh, Annabel’s family dynamic?
Jocelyn: To be honest, I was honestly shocked to even hear Annabel’s name being put in a sentence like that. For the time I’ve known Annabel, we haven’t been super close, but I didn’t know her to be that way. Clearly, she’s had some advice for me and she should take heed to that advice. Change and evolve Annabel. I hope that’s what she’s doing. *smiles*
Dakota: Well it was shocking to me to see her son approach Tiffany like that. I was shocked. Anyway, what did you honestly think of Petra’s pop up shop?
Jocelyn: *laughs* Well Dakota, I still stand by what I said. The pop up shop just seemed a bit empty and desolate. *giggles* But nevertheless I do know Petra is very fashionable and she will soon flourish even more in the career path she’s chosen to take.
Dakota: I thought it was very cool to be honest, but I didn’t understand the connection to Greece, but good for her. Also what did you think of Dr. Tiffany’s outfit choice for dinner? Does she need a glam squad like, uh, Pat said?
Jocelyn: Tiffany gives you frugally, fashionable doctor sometimes; and the other times a classy, chic MD. She does not need a glam squad like Pat said; however, Pat might need to give over her glam squad to Tiffany because soon her final bit of coins from her last and final allowance payment from Tom will soon run delicate and she’ll be living like a Neanderthal. Maybe they can pick up a new show. “Neanderthal Living: Pat’s Edition”. *laughs*
Audience oohs and laughs
Dakota: *laughs* Well damn okaya, Do you think you went too far with the rape accusation? Should you have brought that up? Personally, I don’t think you should have but let me hear you out.
Jocelyn: Well Dakota you’ve thought I shouldn’t have done a lot of things so far. You’ve definitely had your impressions. *laughs* But at the time, Frankie and I were in a bad place and I really just didn’t want any of her lies to be forgiven. So, I did use that as ammunition to go against Frankie; however, Pat just so happened to be involved in the rape situation so she became collateral. It was not originally aimed against Pat, but as you can see, she blew up and had a Baptist fit babygirl. That furthers validates my point that Pat had been waiting for something to happen so she could call our “friendship” quits. I could’ve been a bit more relaxed at the dinner as well, but I fortunately don’t live with regrets. *shrugs*
Dakota: Yea, I think it was a good point to make, asking if you’d bring your kids around this, uh, person. But I thought the delivery was off. Why do you think Pat got so angry and heated when you brought it up? I mean, she walked away and pulled her mic off.
Jocelyn: Pat was only angry and troubled because she simply had no comeback. When Pat’s lies are exposed and the truth is revealed, and she has no rebuttal; she blows up and tries to use production as a cover up and/or savior. It’s ridiculous at this point. We signed up for a reality show. We never know what to expect. Just as I didn’t expect for her to go behind my back and gossip about me to Petra, knowing we weren’t in a good space at the time. She’s a professional victim.
Dakota: Ok, I personally don’t think cast members should say they won’t film with someone unless it was a crazy situation. This wasn’t.
Jocelyn: Exactly. She’s absurd. She must’ve thought something else was coming at her, but clearly she started her theatrics just a bit too early.
Dakota: Where are you at with the whole Courtney and Frankie feud, who’s side are you on?
Jocelyn: Courtney and I are building a great friendship and Frankie and I are in a cordial space, and I do understand both of their doings. However, I’ll ultimately choose Courtney’s side considering she’s had my back majority of the season.
Dakota: Mhm, okay, last thing, I’m a little confused by what happened at the end of the episode with Tiffany, you and Petra. What happened there?
Jocelyn: Tiffany and I are two of the realist. And we were just happy to finally be seeing Gunter after all the information that’s been told about him to us. We were told he didn’t think Petra was fit to be a mother etcetera, so we honestly were just happy to finally see him supporting her. But yet again, Petra had another nervous breakdown per her manipulator’s request.
Dakota: Got it, thank you for coming to the Dakota show, Jocelyn
Jocelyn: You are so welcome Dakota! I expect another invite from you before the season ends! I’m sure I’ll have to come explain my motives again. *laughs*
Dakota: *laughs* Definetley. Thank you all for watching our show. We’ll see ya on Friday.
Audience claps and cheers as the camera fades away from the studio
