[S2 E11]: Baller Wives: Twitter
Previously on Baller Wives: In Paris, Elle hosts an event for her Love, Stonewood brand expansion to Paris. Elle and Cassie get into it causing Cassie to throw Elle’s park, a gift, in her face. Back in Twitter, Cassie and Brittany discuss their friendship after Cassie believes that Brittany told Joi and Charlotte about her nude photos which has caused them to resurface. Brittany ends up walking out of the restaurant. At a pottery class hosted by Joi, Elle confronts Calista over talking behind her back, and when Blair gets involved the conversation turns awry. Blair looks at a venue for her book launch, while Charlotte contemplates attending.
The episode begins with cameras following Joi as she steps out of a car and walks into an unknown building.
She removes her shades and looks around at the place
Joi: Oh wow
Joi Confessional: Today, I’m out looking at some venues my wedding planner has sent me. I think if we want to get this wedding done as soon as possible, we need to be actively looking for a place to have it.
A few moments later, Charlotte walks into the building as Joi is speaking with the owner
Charlotte: JOIIIIII!!!!!!
Joi: Hey Charlotte!
Charlotte: Hey my baby! *hugs Joi* How are you?
Joi: I’m fine! How about you? Haven’t seen you in person
Charlotte: Ahhh I’m doing just fine! Been busy busy honey. Paris really took a lot out of me.
Joi: I figured. You and I had to be on one hundred the whole trip!
Charlotte Confessional: After Paris, it was so hard for me to want to be around the group. I love being here but damn are these bitches hectic. I can’t let that interfere with my real friendships though. I’m here to support Joi fully!
Joi: They were gunning for us. But funny thing, Calista and I went out the other day
Charlotte: Wait what! *hops back sarcastically* How did that go?
Joi: We went to a pottery class with some other friends. Her and I surprisingly got along. I’m hoping this’ll be a new start, but you never know when someone is friends with Cassie
Charlotte: Mmmmm that’s interesting. I actually take liking to Calista. I just don’t believe she’s fully herself when she is with Cassie. Maybe she can split her wig and be friends with you both.
Joi Confessional: I don’t think it’s necessary to inform Charlotte about Blair’s random bursts of energy that results in her yelping or yelling and eventually her storming out.
Charlotte: So are you going to Blair’s book launch thing? The book of a bunch of words
Joi: Well, I did get something from what I’m assuming is her assistant. I mean she was at the pottery class with us, so I’ll go return the favor
Charlotte: *nods* So let’s talk about the wedding!!! How are things going with that?
Joi: They are surely, but slowly going. Not at the pace I would like for them to go, but I won’t complain
Charlotte: Why is that?
Joi: I think I’m super excited, but Lorenzo is just like whatever about it. I don’t think he’s afraid of commitment, but he cannot slow down on working for us to actually plan and have it
Joi Confessional: We were shooting to have a destination wedding with family and friends sometime this year. However, it was…you guessed it, pushed back. So, I’m trusting that we’ll both put an equal amount of effort into the planning, so that we can have it next year
Joi: It’s scary because what if we don’t actually get married after multiple years of working toward this
Charlotte: He’s been out of town a lot lately….
Charlotte Confessional: I have heard rumors of different things about Lorenzo the athlete, and they are not pretty. I truly want to hear what’s happening from my friend.
Charlotte: Are you afraid he may do the same thing when you get married?
Joi: Well, he’s out of town, but not as much. He’s just given so much of his life to football and that can be the case if we’re trying to start a family. I mean, yes it can, but I want my family to last. I don’t want to be another sports wife turned desperate housewife. I do have my own empire, but still
Charlotte: I remember when Doug and I first started dating, he was in his prime and I was the wife with the heavy purse. Going everywhere he went. I didn’t have children at the time and we were young. You have a whole career and he does also. I don’t want that to affect you guys in the long run- ya know?
Joi: Neither one of us does
Charlotte Confessional: I have been a Baller wife for more years than any of these ladies' underwear. I understand the strain it can put on your family if you don’t properly manage it!
Joi: Let’s go, Charlotte because I have another one I want to stop by too
Charlotte: Okay cool! It’ll work out. I have faith in both of you.
Joi and Charlotte start to walk away as the scene switches to shots of Calista in her car, driving through Twitter before arriving at her son’s school
Calista’s son, Justin, is seen walking out of the school and getting into Calista’s car
Calista: Did you have a good day at school?
Justin: *fastens seatbelt* Yeah it was okay I guess. Nothing new…same ole same ole.
Calista: Well we’re actually going to change that on our commute today. We’re going to do something a little different…
Justin: Different as in?
Calista: Different meaning you need to sit back and enjoy the ride.
Calista Confessional: After announcing my engagement to Terrell with the kids, Justin had a response that was alarming to me…
Flashback to Justin’s response
Justin: No. What’s going on here isn’t right. The divorce hasn’t even been finalized and you’re just moving on. Again, at least you came to us and we didn’t hear it in the press.
…I love my children more than anything and I want them to be proud of the decisions I make. With that being said, I’m taking Justin somewhere that I think would hopefully allow him to open up to me.
The cameras show a split screen of Calista and Justin arriving at the newly built Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Twitter
Calista: And we’ve arrived at our destination. Come on! This showing is just for us!
Justin: Are you serious mom?!
Calista: I’m very serious!
Calista Confessional: While this is something I planned for Justin, I obviously had to incorporate business into this. *laughs*
The cameras follow Calista and Justin as they look around the Hall of Fame; after some time they are seen taking a seat to relax
Calista: So this is what your mommy does. She works for the teams but she also wants to bring the experience to consumers and fans. And you just so happen to be one of the first guests to take a mini-tour of this place. *laughs*
Justin: That’s pretty dope mom I’m not gonna lie…and this is just basketball. Can’t imagine what you’ll do with football. *laughs*
Calista: Hopefully bigger and better things! You know basketball is my expertise but it’s always good to branch out to other things you know. I hope I’m setting a good example to you guys when it comes to business and everything.
Calista Confessional: The reason why people want Calista is because I’m very good at what I do. The most rewarding part is seeing how the fans and the players have smiles on their faces. My job may seem small, but I definitely make a bigger impact than what people think. You know, not many people can bring their children to their jobs and have a good time. I’m not naming names but this isn’t factory work over here.
Justin: Most definitely mom and I appreciate you bringing me here today. It was cool seeing dad around in some places. Definitely a true balling legend.
Calista: Yeah. That’s one thing we can’t take away from him…
Justin: Hey mom…
Calista: Yeah?
Justin: Can we talk about the other day for a second?
Calista: Sure. I was really taken aback by your reaction to the engagement and I want you to know you can talk to me about anything.
Justin: For sixteen years, all I’ve known is you and dad together and I don’t know if I can be fully accepting of an engagement right now.
Calista: Listen, I understand that. You guys mean everything to me and if I could do things differently, I would because I know what has happened between your father and I hasn’t been easy.
Calista Confessional: I love my kids dearly and I wish I could’ve handled things differently to spare them the public embarrassment. I do love Terrell with all of my heart and I hope down the line Justin will be accepting of him.
Justin: I want you to be happy mom but for me, it’ll take some time for me to come to terms with everything. It just happened so fast and I need time to process it.
Calista: I do hope down the line you’ll be able to fully accept it. I know everything has been a lot for you guys and I do apologize for putting you guys through the public scrutiny. That was never my intention and I hope you can forgive me for that.
Justin: *hugs Calista* I know what wasn’t your intention as the media can play a huge part in things. I do love you mom but it’ll take me a bit longer to come to terms with things.
Calista: I understand but I’m happy we were able to have this conversation. This is the first step and remember, you can come to me about anything…good or bad. Now let’s talk about those grades young man…
The cameras fade out of the Hall of Fame and the scene transitions to Brittany’s backyard as many guests are arriving and mingling
Brittany Confessional: Tonight, I’ve partnered with the WNBA for a private fundraiser to benefit young women’s sports teams. I’ve invited Elle and Riley because I know they care about this cause and a little selfishly, I want to clear the air with Riley
The cameras turn to Elle’s driver opening the door to her white Rolls as she exits and enters Brittany’s house
Elle starts to mingle with other guests as Riley arrives and enters the backyard
Riley Confessional: When I got Brittany’s invite…I was a little surprised, I won’t lie. *laughs* She and I have had our share of highs and lows, to put it politely. But we didn’t have a bad time together in Paris and I’m definitely happy to come out and support her event!
Elle: *sees Riley* Hi gorgeous!
Riley: Hi honey! *hugs Elle* It’s good to see you again, it’s been a minute.
Elle: Since Paris I think. *laughs* What a wild night!
Riley: Insane to say the least! I didn’t think I’d ever be happy to be in Twitter instead of Paris.
Elle: Right? I was just glad to get back to my kids and my hubby honestly, only so much work you can do.
Brittany notices the girls and walks over to them
Brittany: Hey girls, you both look lovely
Elle: Thanks Brit you look amazing tonight! So radiant!
Riley: Hi Brittany! *smiles* You look gorgeous, thanks for inviting me.
Brittany: Thank you, I’m happy you could make it! I didn’t think you’d come honestly
Riley: Of course I’m here, I think this is a fabulous cause!
Elle steps away from the conversation, noticing the tension
Riley: And…I think we’re not total enemies at this point *laughs*
Brittany: Not at all! I want to apologize for being petty towards you and not just addressing how your statement hurt my feelings because I’ve worked very hard to make a name for myself outside of being a video girl
Brittany Confessional: It’s no secret that Riley and I got off on the wrong foot and it’s important to me that every woman I encounter gets a fair chance. Even if they lie on me to turn on me.
Riley: I appreciate that. I can definitely understand how that could upset you, and I do truly apologize for things I said that came across so negatively. Being a female sports journalist, I definitely get working hard to build your name up, so I respect that
Riley Confessional: Sports are seen as a man’s world in many ways, so I definitely appreciate Brittany’s perspective and working hard like I have to progress from where she once was. So I do mean it when I say I’m sorry that her feelings were hurt by the things I said.
Elle walks back over to the girls
Elle: Sooo how are we doing? I got some good bubbles at the bar, great choices Brit!
Brittany: I think we’ve had a great conversation
Riley: I think we’re good too. *smiles* So…have you girls seen any of the other women since Paris? I’ve only seen Charlotte in person *laughs* I feel like everyone is hiding out
Brittany: I saw Cassie and let’s just say, we are not on good terms
Riley: Oh wow! Really? That’s shocking to me
Elle: What happened? She hasn’t spoken to me since she threw a parka at me. *laughs*
Brittany: We had a conversation because she’s insistent that I gave Charlotte and Joi her nude photographs
Riley: *mouth drops* What? That’s crazy! You two were the best of friends
Elle: I bet it’s Calista in her ear about you the way Cassie is in hers about me. *sips*
Brittany: I don’t want to get emotional about it. It’s fine, I just ended the friendship. The dynamics of this group have shifted and I just don’t have a place in her life if that’s what she believes about me
Brittany Confessional: *trying not to cry* I’m very disappointed in the direction of my longtime close friendship with Cassie. But there was nothing else for me to do, I’ve apologized and clearly that wasn’t good enough *shrugs* Can I take a minute- *walks off camera*
Elle: I’m sorry Brit
Riley: Oh Brittany, I’m sorry. I hope maybe you two can work things out eventually, you’ve been friends for so long. *turns to Elle* What happened with you and Calista, Elle?
Elle: Well I met with her, Joi and Blair to make pottery and I actually made some really cute hearts for my kids right? So I hadn’t seen her and I was kind of upset about it, so I asked Calista about the stuff you told me that she was saying about my clothes Brit, and she lied right to my face! Blatantly said she never said any of it, can you believe that? *looks shocked*
Riley: Wow, that’s a lot. At least you got to make the pottery first though. *giggles* So…will I see you both at Blair’s launch?
Elle: Launch for what? She has a brand? A job?
Brittany: Blair can shove her book between her chomping teeth
Riley: *laughs* So I guess I’ll tell her you both send your best? *winks*
Brittany: You don’t have to lie.
Riley Confessional: And I guess a few months in, based on today going well with Brittany, maybe I’ve learned how to duck when they swing. *winks*
Brittany: I’m going to make a speech for this last push of money from the pockets *laughs*
Brittany walks away from the girls and the scene turns to a small event venue as Blair is seen talking with some guests
Blair Confessional: Tonight, I’m hosting a soft launch for the upcoming release of my book. I really wanted a select group of strong, boss women to come together and celebrate each other. That’s what my book is really all about — business and empowerment for women. I’m really looking forward to tonight. *smiles*
Cassie and her husband, Thomas, are the first to walk into the event; Cassie waves at some guests
Cassie: Hey!
Blair: *smiles and hugs Cassie* Hi! Great to see you both!
Joi walks in and smiles, looking around
Joi Confessional: I’m surprised to have received the invitation from Blair, but I’m excited to see what she has to offer tonight. Her first event was in a backyard, so I’m glad we’ve upgraded to a venue now.
Joi stands around on the other side of the venue
Joi: What time is it?
Charlotte enters and notices Joi right away
Charlotte: Hello beautiful!
Joi: Hey sis! I’m glad you made it. It was so dry here.
Charlotte: It looks like it. It’s not off-brand.
Blair sees Joi and Charlotte off to the side
Blair Confessional: I’m ignoring Joi after the other day, to be honest. I have more important things on my mind and to be honest, I kinda forgot to uninvite her. But oh well, I may as well show her what some sort of success and accomplishment looks like. *smiles and giggles a bit*
Calista walks in a few minutes later and hands Blair a gift
Calista: Congratulations babe! Terrell couldn’t make it tonight but this is a lovely gift from us!
Blair: *smiles and hugs Calista* Aw, thank you so much!
The cameras catch Riley walking up behind the girls and joining the group
Cassie: Riley you look stunning!
Riley: Aww thank you Cassie! You look gorgeous too.
Calista: Oh my I thought Riley was Brittany Slay! *laughs* You look good hun!
Cassie: Calista who?! *sips cocktail*
Calista Confessional: From a distance she kinda does with the short hair…except Riley is classy and not trashy.
Riley: And you better check those eyes Calista! *laughs* I’m just kidding, we made up…I think
Joi and Charlotte walk over and join the group
Calista: *waves to Joi* Hi hun! Loving your look!
Joi: Thank you!
Charlotte: Hey Riley rilez!! *hugs Riley*
Riley: Hi Charlotte babe! Good to see you as always
Cassie: Char, love the black! Always a serve for you.
Joi stands back as the ladies greet Charlotte
Joi Confessional: After Paris, I don’t really remember who pissed me off. So, I’m just trying to see which hoe is on my shit list. I’m always sure that Cassie is on it though. The girl is just a shitty bitch!
Charlotte: Hey Calista!
Calista: Hello Charlotte. Nice seeing you again. You look very nice this evening
Calista Confessional: For once Charlotte actually looks like a classy businesswoman and not a busted can of biscuits. I see my event on the yacht truly inspired her to look more professional! I’m proud!
Cassie: Blair!! So excited for the book!
Blair: I’m glad! Tonight is super exciting for me, I can’t wait for the release of it!
Blair tells the Ballers take their seats at the table assigned for them and she heads toward the stage at the front of the venue
Blair: *speaks into the microphone* As you will all know, my name is Blair Hamilton and tonight, I’m delighted to welcome you all to the launch of my book, The Empowerment of the Woman in Business. My real focus and drive when writing this book is I wanted to provide for the women in business, the women in the boardrooms, the women who are being bosses everyday of their lives. We see these books about helping women who are mothers, who are carers, who are women in general but never anything about business. I knew something needed to change which is why I wrote this book. I feel proud of this accomplishment and to have so many of you here tonight to help celebrate the launch of this book. I hope you all have a great night, thank you so much. *smiles and claps*

Riley Confessional: The title is long for my taste…but I’m very proud of Blair! Writing a book is NOT easy.
Cassie Confessional: I don’t know much about the real estate business but I am assuming it’s hard for women to be successful in that field so I give Blair all the props in the world!
Blair goes over to her table with the other ladies
Calista: Blair I’m so happy for you! I think I can say we’ll all be buying a copy and I’m sure you can send a copy to those who aren’t with us tonight.
Blair: *hugs Calista* Thank you so much for your support, my friend.
Riley: I’ll definitely be buying several copies! I was actually just with those who aren’t with us the other night. *nervous laugh*
Charlotte: Ohhh Riley Riley
Calista: Well speaking of those who are present and those who are not, I would like to make a quick announcement if that’s okay Blair
Cassie: Announce away babe!
Calista: Joi already knows which is ironic considering our history. *chuckles*
Joi: *laughs* Aw
Calista: Terrell and I got engaged before our trip to Paris and we’re throwing an engagement party and I would like you all to attend!
Blair: Aw, I love that!
Riley: Oh my, congratulations Calista! ’m so happy for you, I’d love to be there
Cassie: Of course I’ll be there babe!
Charlotte: Oh wow- Amazing. Amazing
Calista: Thank you ladies! I did invite Elle but she was being weird the other day so the jury is out on her. As for Brittany, Terrell was the bigger person and invited them. It’s not like she would support me anyway since she thinks I’m a whore and a bad mother
Cassie: Oh wow. Yeah, I doubt Juniper comes. She’s very cranky lately.
Calista Confessional: I personally did not want to invite Brittany. Wyatt has always been a gentlemen to me so he was always welcome but his wife is a piece of work.
Calista: I believe she might’ve put this bug in Elle’s ear about me because the other day Elle said I was trashing her business and I don’t recall that at all. She thinks just because she’s on this platform that she’s bigger and better than everyone but we all know she was riding on Flo Rida back in the day
Cassie: *smirks* Oop not Flo Rida…did shawty got low, low, low.
Joi: Didn’t Elle say it was someone in your circle? Was Brittany in your circle anytime recently, Calista?
Calista: People in my circle don’t have time to talk about Elle Stonewood of all people. We’re respectfully not on the same level
Riley: They did bring up something about Elle asking you about her clothes or something, Calista. She did also sort of say that Brittany had mentioned something to her.
Calista: She deals with clothes, I deal with people.
Cassie: Why is Elle still around? *rolls eyes*
Charlotte: Cassie, you need to apologize to Elle as well.
Charlotte Confessional: What Cassie did was trashy and so not right. And Elle deserves an apology!
Cassie: Elle won’t be receiving any apologies from me. She can waddle on back over there with Kathy Irvine on Ladies of Twitter.
Blair laughs
Charlotte: Why not though? You are too grown to be bullying someone unprovoked
Joi: That’s Cassie for you. Just like she came and stood in front of me like a kid wanting to ask for my phone to play games and then walked away. She almost does things just for a reaction *laughs*
Cassie: *puts hand on Charlotte’s shoulder* How about you shut up about what you don’t know about babe? Mind the business that pays you…go find Doug? And Joi what are you talking about? You look like a linebacker ready to tryout for the Twitter T-Birds baby — enough is enough. Get a stylist please!
Cassie Confessional: Joi and Charlotte ganging up on me? Again? *yawn* Get a hobby girls! I don’t even talk about you two unless provoked.
Joi: Baby, I’m dripping in diamonds and jewels! *spins* What are you dripping in you Playboy cum licker
Blair: *rolls eyes* Disgusting.
Charlotte: Cassie, you just need to shut up. That’s your problem. You’ve been opening that trap, lying and spreading damaging things about people for too long! Just because your life is a mess- you want everybody to join you? You can’t keep a job, a house, your husband is your way in and out. And your clothes always look too big, bitch.
Calista: Charlotte…
Charlotte: You’re right! I’m not going there
Cassie: My life isn’t a mess babe. I own a business and don’t need to try and keep a job? Are you slow or on drugs now?
Charlotte: You are wrong!!! *points at Cassie*
Joi: Charlotte, don’t give her nothing more

Riley: *shakes head* This group is a disaster
Cassie: *laughs* Anyways I can’t continue to be around bitches with mental issues. I’m not a counselor. I’ll see you later Calista and Riley. The event was lovely Blair. Sorry, that dumb and dumber had to bring their low brow bullshit here.
Calista: Oh my goodness! *laughs and hugs Cassie* Love you doll!
Charlotte: See you later, Cassie!
Cassie walks out with Thomas and the cameras remain at the table
Riley: We can’t do this every time we get together, girls. *laughs*
Charlotte: She can’t even be held accountable anymore! Sad.
Joi nods
Joi Confessional: I just don’t get why Cassie is never held accountable for the things that SHE does? I don’t even think of the girl, and she came in trying to be petty. Like why come stand your skinny ass in front of me like I owe you something? She does things for a reaction and goes to gaslight you later to make you feel crazy or like your response is out of nowhere! Classic Cassie
Charlotte: Blair, I apologize! Super excited for your success!!
Blair: *puts head in hands* Why can’t we ever just have a NORMAL event?
Calista: Maybe we need to start having some bread at events
Riley: Bread needs knives, Calista. I’m not sure about bread *laughs* Soup perhaps?
Joi: Well, I’ll stay quiet at the engagement party
Calista: Hopefully you guys will behave around your men. It’s a celebration of love! *laughs*
Outside of the venue, Cassie and Thomas’s mics are heard as they walk to their car
Cassie: Those two idiots tried to attack me tonight, per usual
Thomas: Why? They both looked like shit.
Cassie: *laughs* Stawpppp babe
The cameras fade out of the venue’s parking lot and the episode ends
Next time on Baller Wives: Calista and Terrell talk about their engagement and things standing in their way. Cassie and Joi sit down and try to work out their issues. Charlotte invites some of the women to her home to show them renovations she’s made. Charlotte spills some tea on one of the men in the group, which could cause a friendship to explode. Will it be addressed at Calista’s engagement party? And who will be held responsible?
